You don’t have to spend a lot of money on your body scrubs, facial masks and other skin treatments. There’s so many different natural ingredients that you can use instead of purchasing expensive over the counter products.
Checking around, I have found several of them that I have tried and liked. You can always make your own concoction and try by trial and error to find the perfect one for yourself.
Here are a couple of Dr Oz’s favorite recipes I enjoy:
Dr. Oz Spa facial Mask
DIY FACIAL MASK: This Spa facial Red Grape Face Mask is inspired by a treatment found at the Caudalie Vinothérapie® Spa, the Plaza Hotel in New York City. This mask recipe has only 4 ingredients and great for restoring your complexion. The grapes and cranberries have vitamins A and C, which help guard against sun damage. Additionally, this mask may help reverse some discoloration from aging.
DIY Spa Facial Mask Recipe
1 cup seedless red grapes
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 tsp grapefruit juice
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
Mash up and mix ingredients together by hand or in a blender until it becomes a paste. Chill for 45 minutes until it thickens. Let it sit for 10 minutes and apply to clean skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and clean off with warm water.
This facial would normally cost $185 but you can do this spa facial for $2.70
Dr. Oz: Brown Sugar Body Scrub
Skin Exfoliating Scrub — Brown Sugar Body Scrub for dry skin; Sugar scrubs are more gentle than other scrubs, and they exfoliate without damaging your skin – keeping it smooth and moisturized. This Spa Brown Sugar Body Scrub is inspired by treatment the spa finder found at the Ritz Carlton, Dove Mountain, Arizona.
